今日のNHKテレビで、米国ヒューストンの中国領事館で煙が発生し消防車が出動する騒ぎになった、とのニュースがありました。同領事館は、米側から閉鎖を求められており、撤収に際し機密文書等の破棄焼却が必要になったので、領事館の庭で大量焼却を行ったものと思われますが、火災と間違えられ消防車が出動する騒ぎになったようです。これって、北朝鮮の爆破事件と似ていませんか？米側に対する当てつけのため、テレビ写りが良いように大量の煙を発生させたとしか思われません。普通は地元の消防署に事前に連絡して周囲の住民に周知してから行うべき行事であると思いますが。撤退するときは建物を爆破するつもりでしょうか？

What did they burn down at the Consulate General in Houston?

Diplomatic documents need to be processed and destroyed immediately. What they burned is the files! Including the sources developed in the Houston area, files of spies, incident files, personal files of people being monitored and bought. According to my research, they have more spies in embassies and consulates than former KGB and GRU.

They have much more intelligence agencies than the Soviet Union! Please read my book. The consulates have the closed sections for each of their intelligence agencies, and it is impossible for diplomats to enter. Unlike KGB, the later occupied one floor and are easy to be identified.
