アフガン情勢はベトナム戦争末期に似てきました。米国やNATO各国軍は米同時多発テロから20年後の今年9月11日までに撤退することを決めています。タリバンはじわじわとアフガン国内で勢力範囲を広げています。米国の撤退理由は米国に対するテロ攻撃の勢力が一掃されたことです。アフガン国内にいる軍人以外の米国人や米軍の通訳などで働いていた地元民も迫害が予想されるため撤退の対象となっています。ビザは撤退してから発行するとも言われています。

米軍が撤退した後、アフガン政府軍はタリバンと交渉するのか、あくまで戦うのか判然としませんが保有する米国から提供された高性能武器がタリバンに渡る恐れがあります。

それらの武器をタリバンが中国に売却する可能性があるとの報道もあります。

カナダの中国系軍事評論家平可夫氏は、FACEBOOKで次のように述べています。 

I am warning again: the situation in Afghanistan will not last until winter! Even earlier. (I have to be responsible, so my predictions are usually very conservative! My real speculation is: 1-2 months!)
Why?
1. The Taliban are fighting for faith.
2. Need to analyze the 2003 war!
In this war, the Taliban preserved their strength and suffered no major losses at all. They voluntarily withdrew from Kandahar and Kabul.
The Taliban’s tactics are strikingly similar to Mao Zedong’s guerrilla warfare thinking:
If the enemy advances, we retreat.
If the enemy retreats, we pursue.
If the enemy is tired, we harass...!
Why is this happening? I asked the Taliban fighters. They claimed: Pakistani military instructors trained them.
This is clear: the textbooks on guerrilla warfare in Pakistan's military academies use Mao Zedong's book! Some Pakistani military officers can also use simple Chinese military terms!
The Chinese are very likely to expand their sphere of influence to Afghanistan.
